The Advanced Technology Center is a partnership between the Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS), the City of Virginia Beach and Tidewater Community College (TCC). The Center plays a unique role in the region’s  STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education plans,  preparing students not only for existing careers, but also for those that will be emerging in the coming decades. The ATC’s instruction focuses around three strands: Information Technology & Computer Sciences, Digital Design & Marketing, and Architecture, Engineering & Manufacturing.

The ATC has a dedicated staff that is both highly qualified and highly committed to the success of our students. Our students get an in-depth and hands-on education in subjects such as graphic design, engineering, cybersecurity, information technology and more.
